WHAT IS THE WORSHIP TAPESTRY?
MISSION
Through Spirit-led creativity and the weaving together of our artistic gifts, we desire to form a tapestry of beauty and adoration to our King, Jesus Christ.
WHY IT MATTERS
God is a creative God, and we are made in His image. We are called to worship, inspire, lead, and equip through artistic skill and ability—to build God’s Kingdom and display His glory and love through the arts.
WHAT IS THIS FOR?
To provide community, connection, training, equipping, encouragement, and development while inspiring creativity as we follow and worship Christ.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Music and worship leaders, volunteers, tech and worship teams, writers, designers, photographers, artists, and creative minds and hearts of all skill levels.

CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES
1. Tides of Worship Vol#1
A collection of original songs, photography, writings, Scripture, prayers, and creative works from more than 20 people across our district. Copies are still available.
2. District Assembly 2027 – Mosaic Mural
Help create two large mosaic murals celebrating the beauty of the Maritimes. Submit your original artwork or photography to become part of this collaborative project.
3. Creative Worship Course
Explore songwriting, music, and poetry while developing your creative gifts as an expression of worship. This course is available for churches and groups in our district.
1. Tides of Worship Vol#1
Our first project was Tides of Worship Vol. 1, released at District Assembly 2026.
This collection features 8 original songs, photography, writings, Scripture, prayers, and more, contributed by more than 20 people from across our district.
Copies of the book and USB are still available. If you would like to purchase one, please contact Pastor Reanne.
We are planning Volume 2 for 2028. If you have original songs, poetry, or photography that celebrates our Lord and represents our Maritime Provinces, we would love to hear from you. Please send your submissions to Pastor Reanne.
2. District Assembly 2027 – Mosaic Mural
Help us create two large mosaic murals to be displayed at District Assembly 2027 in Charlottetown, PEI!
We invite you to submit an original painting, drawing, or photograph inspired by the Maritimes — including the ocean, lighthouses, water, boats, landscapes, or anything that represents our region.
How to participate:
- Choose your work — Submit something new or something you created in the past.
- Take a quality photo of your artwork or photograph.
- Send it to: theworshiptapestry@gmail.com
- Include: your name, the year it was created/taken, and a few sentences sharing what the piece means to you or the story behind it.
Your submission will become part of a collection of artwork used to create the two mosaic murals for District Assembly 2027.

3. Creative Worship Course
Explore creativity through songwriting, music, and poetry while developing your artistic gifts as an expression of worship.
This course is already available through the Ignite School of Ministry and can be arranged for your church or area.

Virtual / Online WT Gatherings
Throughout the year, these gatherings would include specific worship/music topics, teachings, training opportunities, discussion, information, connection, prayer, offer resources, share work & projects, etc. A chance to build community
This is an opportunity to meet one-on-one or in a small group to study specific elements of worship and music.
Example: A student who feels called to worship ministry/leadership, would go through specific resources to develop their heart and skill for worship.

There are many resources and programs that can assist our churches in many ways.
We plan to provide access and opportunity for our congregations to obtain resources that are needed to equip each other for many music and worship needs.
